We had a good meal on the plane and breakfast before landing in Copenhagen. The whole group except for Henning, who was slightly longer in Vietnam, used railroad home. An exciting trip with many great experiences. What is striking is so friendly, amiable, cheerful and welcoming Cambodians and Vietnamese! is. Countries as such offers many nature experiences.
Tuesday, May 8
The group was taken home yesterday. Khoa and Henning is now Khoas home province of Ninh Binh, ca. 100 km from Hanoi. We started to sail in small boats on smaller rivers than Tam Coc. Then we visited Vietnam's largest pagoda Chua Bai Dinh. It is built on a mountain 3 levels. All the way up, there are statues of famous budhister through time. This year is the 2556 years since Buddha was born in India. Statues in human size and there is more than 1000. Everything is great in this pagoda. The time is so large that there is built a special house for it. The height is 15 meters and the diameter is 10 meters. Pagoda is completed, but guest houses and parking is not finished yet. We ate tonight at Khoas mother, where we also slept at night. I got a bed to sleep in the mattress and a straw mat. Here there was aircon and the temperature was 40 degrees during the day and at night there were only 26 degrees.

Wednesday, May 9
After breakfast we drove to Ninh Binh and got a small hotel. 25 km from Ninh Binh had built the largest church in Vietnam Phat Diem. Phat Diem is the home of a famous cathedral (1891), which is remarkable for its huge dimensions and great Sino-Vietnamese architecture - with a touch of European dressing for good measure. The architect had respect for it was in Vietnam. It would be built so that it has received a pagodelignende facade. Inside kiurkerummet the stone and wood. I've only seen a church that has been greater: St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. We attended a funeral. It was exciting to witness the congregation arrrangement. We ate dinner the same place as lunch and got grilled chicken. Khoa was called by his brother, who asked if we would be helping to celebrate with him and his friends. At 4th the morning he was on vacation company to Da Nang. There was partied through.

Thursday, May 10
After breakfast we drove towards Hanoi. I stayed close to Khoas home. We ate dinner at a barbecue restaurant. We had chicken and small birds. Man and Minh Chau was also included. Khoa lives in a nice neighborhood around a large lake.
Friday, May 11
Man and Minh Chau was there when we visited Thu from Mai Chau. Sun controls the White Thai group in a center with many activities from throughout Vietnam. There are enn white thai department, dance and music and display of weaving techniques. There are many departments: Sa Pa, Hoi An, a large area with m ange fish in 50 different basins. There are dolphin shows and many other activities. There are artists who can paint a portrait of you. Dert takes 14 days to fix it. I was driven back to Camilia hotel in Hanoi.

It was intended that I should have been with Thuy, but she had been sick, so I called Hang. We were on a little trip around West Lake. It was a wonderful trip. It blows a lot when riding a motorcycle or even bicycle. Hang on to work at 14.00

After breakfast rang Oanh and we made a little trip along with her friend. Oanh is employed by a travel agency. Dinner at Little Hanoi.
Monday, May 14
By appointment, I was picked on camellia at 7.30. We were going to a wedding. Khoas wife's sister's daughter was getting married. The party started Sunday, May 13. Khoa had been involved. Now there was a pause till 9.00. Here was approx. 200 people when we showed up. The bride was also without brudetøj. At 10.30 she was dragged away and now there was a hairdresser, who painted her and put her hair up. exactly at 12.00 came the bridegroom and his family of about 100 people. It was here wedding cerimonierne started and there were speeches and toast. At 1.00 drove fanmilien to the man's home, we were probably also about 100 people. We were also entertained and there was skålert. The bride and groom was in his home. We went back, but at 18.00 there was again great eating, but only for familen and me. Now there was partied through. Everyone wanted to bowl with me either beer or whiskey. I slept in Khoas in-law family home.

Tuesday, May 15
Next morning after breakfast we drove back to Hanoi. Hang picked me up at 10.00. Now we had to visit her home, her father and mother are poor farmers. They had done everything that it should be as inviting as possible. There was built a new wall around the house. There was also built a new kitchen and bathroom, so there were many resources of that I might find myself well. I got the parents' bed. Dad hangs and hangs friend slept with the neighbor. I did not sleep so well at night, so I got up to found their refrigerator. I did not find it and asked them the next morning, where they had their refrigerator. They had not been able to afford one.

We had rented a car to drive us to the beach. but first we visited Hiens school. She is 10 years and hangs younger sister. Again it was a festive visit. We drove to the beach that had the same quality as in Hoi An and Da Nang, but it was a good and exciting beach. We ate lunch and got a lot of fish dishes. We were also in the water several times.
Thursday, May 17
It shocked me that there was no refrigerator, so we decided to drive to a big city to buy a refrigerator for hangs parents. It was also successful and we got a nice fridge freezer function and cooling box. It was quite an upheaval in the refrigerator. Business drove it home on a moped.

Now we return to Hanoi. We were in Hanoi at about 01.00. An exciting trip was completed.
Saturday, May 19
Thuy phoned and wanted to pick me and would provide lunch and dinner. She called Khoa, so he could pick me up at Thuys family. Departure for the airport at 18.00.
